This policy explains how FBA PTE LTD (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you use the Ace the NCLEX mobile app and this website.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email address, used to create your account and send sign-in codes. Optionally your display name, exam type, and exam date.
  • Study activity: your question answers, scores, mock-exam results, flashcard reviews, study streaks, and progress — this powers your readiness score, study plan, and review features.
  • AI tutor conversations: messages you send to the in-app study assistant, processed to generate responses and stored with your account.
  • Purchase info: subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and our billing partner RevenueCat. We receive subscription status — never your card details.
  • Website visits: this site uses cookies and analytics/advertising pixels (e.g. Shopify analytics, Meta Pixel) to measure traffic and ad performance. If you join our mailing list, we store your email to send you launch and product updates.

How we use it

  • To run the app: sign-in, syncing your progress across devices, personalising your study plan and readiness score.
  • To provide the AI tutor and improve answer quality and safety.
  • To manage subscriptions, free-tier limits, and the pass guarantee.
  • To send service emails (sign-in codes, account notices) and — only if you opted in — marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from any time.
  • To measure and improve the app and our advertising.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party ads in the app.

Who we share it with

Trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database & authentication hosting), Anthropic/OpenAI-class AI providers (to generate tutor responses), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple / Google (billing), Resend (sending emails), and Shopify (this website). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can reset your study progress in the app at any time, and you can request full account deletion by emailing support@acethenclex.com — we'll delete your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with access controls. Sign-in is passwordless — one-time email codes — so there's no password for anyone to steal.

Children

The app is intended for users 16 and older preparing for professional licensure. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16.

International transfers

FBA PTE LTD is based in Singapore and our providers host data in various regions (including the United States). Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we'll honour them.
